Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how aethercanvas.art ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit or buy from our store.

Our five-element test asks for your birth date, birth time (optional) and gender, and what you'd like to call in — the energy you want to manifest. We collect this only to run the test and recommend artworks that match your element. We do not use it for any other purpose, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not make decisions about you based on it beyond the test result. You can ask us to delete this data at any time by emailing us.

We use your order information to fulfil your purchases — process payment, ship your piece, send confirmations and invoices, and communicate with you about your order. With your consent, we also send you our occasional newsletter, "Letters from the studio", which you can unsubscribe from at any time. We use device information to screen for fraud and to understand how people use our site, so we can make it better.

We share your data with service providers who help us run the store:

• Shopify — powers our online store. Their privacy policy: shopify.com/legal/privacy
• Payment providers — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Klarna — to process payments.
• Shipping carriers — DHL, FedEx or UPS — to deliver your order.

We may also share your data to comply with law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal data.

We may use your information to show you relevant ads on other platforms (such as Google or Instagram) based on what you've looked at on our site. You can opt out:

• Google: google.com/settings/ads
• Facebook / Instagram: facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads
• General opt-out: optout.aboutads.info

Cookies are small files that help the site work — they keep your cart, remember your preferences and help us understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, but some parts of the site may then not work properly. Most cookies last between 30 minutes and two years.

We keep your order information for our records until you ask us to delete it. The five-element test data is kept only as long as needed to run and improve the test, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you. To do any of these, email us at support@aethercanvas.art. If you're not happy with our response, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

We use reasonable measures to protect your information — encrypted checkout, access limited to people who need it, and no storage of full card numbers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take it seriously.

The site is not intended for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, and we'll note the date below.
