In China, lighting incense was how a room — and a mind — were settled: before meditation, before guests, before sleep. These hand-rolled natural incense sticks are still made the traditional way: powdered aromatics blended with water and a little plant binder (15–20%, just enough to hold the shape), rolled by hand into thin sticks, dried in shade for a week or more, then rested for another month before they are worth lighting. Nothing else goes in.

This is the bright set: blends built on grapefruit, lily of the valley and ambrette — fruity, floral, lightly sweet — with warm cedar-ginger-guaiac blends alongside. Light one to wake a room, or to mark the start of quiet time.

Store the sticks dry, in their box, away from direct sun. Light in a ventilated room, away from flammables; never leave burning incense unattended, and keep out of reach of children and pets.
